Los Dos Molinos recognized by Phoenix New Times

It’s always heartwarming to read great reviews about our restaurant. Los Dos Molinos definitely has gone a long way.

Earlier this year in February, Los Dos Molinos was listed as part of the Top 10 Best Things to Eat and Drink in the Metro Phoenix. Lauren Saria of the Phoenix New Times chose us as one of the best go-to places in the Valley.

We were noted as a legend in the Valley, serving the best red and hatch green chiles in every signature dish. Los Dos Molinos is definitely THE New Mexican restaurant to try in town.

There are many restaurants in Phoenix but only Los Dos Molinos offers a “real tongue-tingling experience” according to Phoenix New Times. We’re so happy to have been noticed by the website.

If the praises were not enough, Los Dos Molinos is also mentioned in the Top 100 Favorite Dishes list by the same website. One of our specialty dishes, Carne Adovada Enchiladas, is No. 87 on the list.

It’s an honor once again to be noticed. Lauren Saria writes:

“The restaurant is legendary in the Valley for its red and green chili, both of which offer remarkably complex flavor and pack plenty of heat.”

The Carne Adovada Enchiladas is one of our most popular dishes. Lauren perfect describes the dish you’d be hungry just reading these words:

“…huge chunks of tender, slow-cooked marinated pork, often served swimming in a pool of red chile sauce…..delicious pork over a fresh corn tortilla and topped with plenty of red chile sauce. Then the whole mess is crowned with a fried egg. Once you break the yolk, you'll get forkfuls of pork, chile, and egg, which does a perfect job of breaking up the spice. Enjoy it with an ice cold Mexican beer and you've tasted a snippet of Valley food history.”

Wow! So that’s how our fans describe our dish. It’s one way to read the menu being described but to you really have to try it and see for yourself.

Again, thank you very much to Phoenix New Times for the recognition. Thank you Lauren. Visit us and you’d definitely “Feel the Heat at Los Dos Molinos”.
